Residential Care Services

At Providence, we provide residential care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our homes have trained staff who possess numerous years of experience in the human services field, and are Certified Nursing Assistants or equivalent.  Our staff are supervised and supported by our highly qualified management team. 

Employment Support

At Providence, we assist our residents with obtaining and maintaining competitive employment within the community.  Our staff are trained to provide the appropriate guidance necessary to ensure that the resident personally fulfills his or her responsibilities the employer.  We provide on the job support to all residents in order to ensure that they are a contributing part of the community.  

Our Programs

At Providence, we believe that the members of our population should have  Choice, Control, Stability, Safety, Freedom, Success, Accountability, Mentoring, Collaboration, Relationships, and Community Inclusion and Contribution. Our programs are designed to assist our community with fulfilling the Everyday Lives principles.  We use person centered planning in our services. We operate under the guidance of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS).  We work with both the Office of Developmental Programs and Bureau of Autism Services within DHS.
